Istituto Secoli - Innovation in Body Measurement for Women's Intimate Apparel Design
Proke collaborates with Istituto Secoli in Milan, the international benchmark school for the study of technical and applied design in fashion, on the development of an anthropometric suit dedicated to female body measurement.
The project’s objective is to create a tool capable of acquiring body measurements accurately, repeatably, and in a standardized manner, supporting the design of intimate apparel with better fit and a higher level of personalization.
The collaboration combines Secoli’s expertise in pattern making and product development with the digital measurement technology developed by Proke, laying the foundation for new applications in the
intimate apparel and made-to-measure sectors.
The project represents an important step toward a data-driven approach to garment design, with the goal of offering companies innovative tools to improve design, fitting, and product development.
Politecnico di Milano - Scientific Validation of the Proke Method
Proke collaborates with the Circular Fashion-Tech Lab at the Department of Design of the Politecnico di Milano in a research project aimed at the scientific validation of its body measurement method.
The research involves a measurement campaign on a large sample of men and women with different anthropometric characteristics, in order to evaluate the method’s precision, reliability, and repeatability.
The objective is to provide independent validation of Proke technology, strengthening its applicability in design processes, product development, and digitalization of the fashion sector.
The research results will be intended for publication in scientific journals dedicated to technologies applied to fashion and design.
The work was carried out at the Circular Fashion-Tech Lab at the Department of Design of the Politecnico di Milano.
